Designed for damp spring days and cooler summer evenings, the Mombasa Fly Rug combines weather protection with breathable comfort. It features a 600 denier waterproof topline and a robust yet soft mesh lower section to provide effective fly protection while allowing airflow.

The topline and detachable neck cover are lined with breathable nylon for a smooth, hair-friendly finish. The neck cover attaches easily to the rug using touch-tape loop fastenings and can be removed as required.

A multi-adjustable chest ensures an excellent fit for both broad and narrow-shouldered horses, while the buckle strap is fully lined with soft fleece to help prevent rubbing. Additional comfort features include a soft fleece wither pad.

For a secure fit, the rug is equipped with cross-over surcingles, a tail guard, and an elasticated tail strap, attached with a trigger clip for easy removal during cleaning. The rug is also supplied with a detachable belly guard that slips easily over the surcingles to sit neatly under the horse.
